PADI Discover Scuba Diving
Wishing to try Scuba Diving since ever? Is difficult to find where to do it? Do you feel curious about underwater life? Or may be you want to do the PADI Open Water Diver course but you are not sure if you going to like it or not. Well, start here! The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program, also known as El DSD is a scuba diving program designed to do the very first step on scuba diving technics by doing your first scuba diving baptism.It starts with and small safety class with basic rules to understand before going under the water with an scuba equipment. The program is done with an Certified PADI Scuba Instructor the whole time.
What does it consist of?
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program starts early on the morning with a short theoretical class and the explanation of some technics we should do under the water in order to make our experience fun and safe. Then the instructor will prepare your equipment for you to go together into shallow water where you can be standing with your head out of the water to start getting familiar with the new gear. After few minutes of basic practice you will be diving like a pro. The maximun depth for this experience is 12 meters but anyway we do not need to go that far.
Requirements
Have good health and be at least 8 years old.
How is the Programa PADI Discover Scuba Diving?

As you may be already know, the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program is a unique half-day program of initiation to recreational diving with scuba equipment. And for that reason we take very easy and with a lot of dedication because it will be your first time there.
Once you confirm that you want to live the experience, you communicate with us to reserve your spot. It can be early in the morning or at noon with the best rays of the sun of Lanzarote the day can offer.
When we meet, after completing the necessary papers, you will attend an small talk onsite. This talk lasts about half an hour and is about the important factors to have in mind to have a fun and safe diving experience. At the end, we will choose the correct size of suit and boots, and an instructor will prepare your equipment that will be loaded into our Monster Blau. After a short trip to the best diving area of ??the day where were no waves nor strong winds, we equip ourselves and enter the sea at a very shallow depth, to an area where if we are standing we are out of the water, to experiment for first time the feeling of breathing underwater. We will take a minute which is the key to assimilate this new world and then we will move on to a small session of security exercises explained during the previous talk. These exercises are basic to better understand the equipment and dive safely. Once dominated, we enter the depths together, holding hands if you want, to a maximum depth of 12 meters. It is not necessary to reach 12 meters because there is a lot of life in shallower depths with creatures you could not even imagine existed. There is a whole world to discover.
If you are wondering how long are we going to be under the water, the truth is: it varies. The quicker you relax, more time you dive. Because at these depths time is directly related to your air consumption. If you breathe exceptionally relaxed you can be up to an hour and a half. Although the normal is between 30 and 50 minutes.
During our journey together under the sea we will discover new things which we will talk about in more detail once we have surfaced, and if during the dive an assistant is available to takes photographs, you can also have memories of them. And if at the end you liked it a lot and want to repeat it, we can try to change places to see different things and do a second dive.
