Scuba diving
As you know we are in the north of Lanzarote and since we are the only ones in this area we have some good special things to show.
The dive sites, are adventurous and with special accesses and exits, amazing caverns, caves, canyons, tunnels and more. The place is so virgin that we can guarantee to see more underwater life than divers. In addition, we like to have an experience as personalized as possible, so do not be surprised if you come and dive only with the instructor, we love it!. The maximum number of divers is 7 and if we reach this number we will almost certainly accompany you (2 instructors) to provide you with security and the best possible experience.
Weather, air and water temperature
The Canary Islands are an excellent option for holidays, especially for the weather. We have an average of 20°C all year, but luckily we do not yet discover how to control the weather, so we leave it to Mother Nature, which may surprise us. But the historical is maintained year after year, more or less. The temperature of the water varies from 18°C in winter to 24°C in summer, so our wetsuits are 7mm and hooded. In summer they are not so necessary, but in winter they give us the extra protection that we need to enjoy the dives pleasantly.
However, keep in mind that the north of Lanzarote is normally exposed to the Trade winds and when these generate waves of more than 1.5 meters. The most clever idea is to go scuba diving to Puerto del Carmen, but do not worry, you will travel comfortably in the “Blau” and enjoy some excellent dives.
Health check before diving
It is a requirement to scuba dive in Spain, a medical certificate from a physician. It’s always important to take care of your health, so we recommend you to visit your doctor before your diving holiday to get a checkup. The certificate is, depending your age, valid between 12 and 18 months.
Divers insurance that includes search and rescue is also required. Except for those who do introductory courses and baptisms, for which our insurance covers them.
If you don’t have insurance when you arrive at our dive centre, you can get a DAN diving insurance plans per day, holidays or annually.
